Dr. Rawls has been in the audiology profession for over 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University and her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Connecticut. She later obtained her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida.

Dr. Rawls is Board Certified in Audiology.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.  She is licensed by the State of North Carolina.

Prior to opening her own practice, Dr. Rawls worked for 20 years in both ENT and hospital settings.  She has extensive experience with pediatric through geriatric populations.  Dr. Rawls specializes in comprehensive hearing assessment as well as in the fitting of advanced digital hearing instruments.

Dr. Racey was raised inWest Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University, and her doctorate degree in audiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009.

Dr. Racey completed a yearlong externship in an otology practice where she was able to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of audiology. She specializes in diagnostic hearing assessment and the fitting of digital hearing instruments. Dr. Racey is licensed by the state of North Carolina.

Dr. Racey and her husband reside in the Triangle. In her spare time, she enjoys watching local sports, such as the Tar Heel basketball team and Hurricanes hockey.
